A flash sparked down a regular, trashed alley way of New York City, the wall opening up a portal, screams echoed from the portal before a body was launched out, skidding along the concrete floor before the portal shut, returning the wall to normal.

The body was clad in jeans, a (choice of design) shirt and a grey hoodie, torn and bloodstained, hair was messy, unkempt from the normal (hair style) that this person had.

The body stayed face down, passed out from hitting the floor, hands twitched slightly, footsteps echoed down the alley - probably the avengers, they were alerted to these ‘anomalies’ basically automatically to investigate them and to make sure regular citizens don't get hurt by it.

A team of Natasha, Steve, Bucky and Sam rushed down the alley, all in gear, weapons equipped, ready to fight something, probably disappointed when they saw a passed out body of a (Gender).

“We were called out for this, really?” Sam sighed, kneeling down next to the body's face.

“You said that last time and nearly got shot. Don't take it lightly.” Steve said, scanning out the area.

“How are they?” Natasha asked, kneeling down next to Sam, who had now flipped the body over carefully, scanning over their face.

“They have a few burn marks, maybe a small slash on their collarbone, but that's all I can see now, I think we should take her back. Captain?”

Steve walked back over, Bucky trailing behind after scouting out the area for anything else.

“I agree, let's take them back and we can interview them once they wake up.”

POV SWITCH

You don't remember much, you just felt pain, heard screaming and felt like you were falling then stopped.

When you came to it, you felt like you were on a soft surface, like your bed, you hoped you were back there, home with your family.

Feeling sore, you opened your eyes to a crystal white ceiling bore back at you, making you sigh internally.

You started to sit up, pulling IVs and other various wires from your body, setting off the heart monitor to flatline, and to, of course alert a doctor.

A man in a lab coat, messy black hair with a purple dress shirt on rushed into the room, to see you sitting at the end of the bed, clad in a white shirt with a small black avengers logo on the top right corner and grey sweatpants.

“You're awake, we need you to sit back onto the bed, we need to monitor you”

“I'm perfectly fine Bruce, I'm not a child anymore..”

“Excuse me, I've never seen you in my life..”

You looked up at his confused expression, yours matching his.

“Wait wait. What? What year is this?” You stood up, panicked.

“It's 2016. Now, I'll ask you again to get back on the bed.”

“No I can't, I need to get home” You begun to pace around, you were stuck in 2016, you shouldn't even be there, your mind was racing with thoughts, you didn't notice Banner call in security to take you to another room.

You sat, handcuffed to the chair for about twenty minutes, your face hidden into the desk, deep in thought, before someone you knew well walked in.

“I'm here to interview you today.”

Your head shot up while he was sitting down with a notepad and pen, his appearance looked different, he looked for ruffed up, his hair was messy and long and it looked like he hadn't shaved in a month.

“Now, my name is James, are you going to talk..”

“(Name). (Name) Ro- Smith.”

“(Name) Smith, can you tell me where you came from?”

“I’m from Brooklyn.”

He scribbled down every word you said, “What year were you born?”

“(Month, day) 2022, and I'm not lying.” You leant back in your chair, completely calm now.

“I doubt that's true but I'll note it down anyway, alright, what about parents?”

You laughed a bit, “That's something I'll rather keep a secret, y’know future rules, I don't want to break something in the past.”

“Alright.. What's your purpose coming here?”

“I came here accidentally I believe, I don't remember coming here at all.. I only felt myself falling..”

“It's alright, we'll try our best to get you home.”

“Thank you James.”

“I'll get you a room to stay in until we find a way to get you home (name).”

You nodded as James walked out the room, and rested your head back onto the desk, back to thinking.
